Tidal Joy – Setup & Deflation Guide
Inflation
- Lay out the float
Place the float on a flat, clean surface. - Remove the valve cap from the inflate/deflate port by twisting the cap to the left.
- Ensure the valve pin is popped up. If itis not, push down on the pin and twist. This seals the inflation port.
- Insert the pump hose to the inflation/deflation port. Twist the hose to the right to lock in place.
- Attach the hose to the pump's INFLATE side by sliding on and twisting it in place. Inflate until firm. No need to worry about over-inflating--the pressure regulator will activate and slowly release air if max capacity is reached.
- Remove the hose. Twist to the left to remove it from the inflation port. The valve pin should stay up to keep the air in the float.
- Put the valve cap on. Ensure there is no water or debris in the port before securing the cap.
Deflation
- Set the float on a clean, flat surface. Ensure there is no water or debris around the inflation port. Twist the valve cap to the left to remove.
- Push the valve pin down and twist until it locks in the down position. Air escapes as soon as you push down to indicate it is ready to deflate.
- Insert the pump hose to the inflation/deflation port. Twist the hose to the right to lock in place.
- Attach the hose to the DEFLATE side of the pump. Deflate until you hear the sound of the pump change to a higher pitch, or until the float appears fully empty.
- Remove the hose. Twist to the left to remove it from port. Make sure all of the air is out of the float.
- Put the valve cap on. Ensure there is no water or debris in the port before securing the cap.
