Helpful Tips

• The insert will begin expanding immediately once unwrapped. It may continue to expand slightly over the next 24 hours.
• The insert includes a weather-resistant liner around it; fully zip it closed and ensure it remains properly sealed before placing the fabric cover on.
• As you assemble, match the seams and corners of the insert with the corresponding seams and corners of the fabric cover for the best fit.

Step 1

1. Locate the chair’s fabric cover and foam insert inside the box.
2. Carefully unroll the insert from its vacuum-sealed wrapping, taking care not to puncture it.
3. Identify the parts:
   • 1 chair fabric cover
   • 1 foam chair insert with weather-resistant liner

Caution — Take Care While Opening

Your chair comes packed tightly in vacuum-sealed wrapping. When opening:

• Use scissors to cut open the wrapping.
• Avoid cutting too deep into the plastic to prevent damage to the chair.

Step 2

1. Ensure the insert’s weather-resistant liner is fully zipped closed before putting the fabric cover on.
   • You should not see any inner foam exposed.
2. Position the fabric cover with the mesh panel at the back of the chair, keeping the panel extended out.
   • If needed, the panel can be fully removed and zipped back on.
3. Drape the back section of the cover over the insert’s back support.
4. Pull the cover downward, aligning the seams as you go.

Step 3

1. Once the cover is fully wrapped around the insert, flip the chair upside down to access the bottom.
2. Pull the bottom panel of the cover closed over the insert’s bottom.
3. Zip the panel shut.
4. Fold the small top overlay panel back into place to conceal the zipper.

Step 4

Flip the chair upright and enjoy!

Everyday Care

• Vacuum or remove debris regularly.
• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
• Do not rub.

Cleaning

• Test cleaners on a hidden area first.
• For dried messes, gently loosen with a soft brush.
• Tough stains may require professional cleaning.

Cleaning Methods

• Mild Soap Solution:
  1 tbsp detergent + 2 cups warm water. Blot, rinse.
• Upholstery Cleaner:
  Follow the product instructions on the bottle.
• Bleach Solution (Outdoor Stains):
  ½ cup bleach + 2 tbsp mild soap in 1 gallon water. Rinse well.

Common Stains Cleaning Guide

• Food, drinks, mud → Mild soap
• Grease, oil, wax → Upholstery cleaner
• Mold, mildew, algae → Bleach solution

"Why is my Solvana cover not zipping or fitting correctly"

→ Please ensure the Big Joe tag on the cover is aligned with the right-side back seam of the chair, about a third of the way down, as shown below. If the cover is placed on backwards, it may bunch at the bottom, fit incorrectly, or prevent the zipper from fully closing.
