Assembling Your Chair
When your new Big Joe Imperial Lounger arrives at your doorstep, you’ll receive both a foam-filled chair insert and its fabric cover. This chair is shipped with the cover removed. You may find your cover folded at the bottom of the box.
For ease of assembly, we recommend putting the cover on your chair insert immediately after opening, before it expands.
Helpful Tips
Get a friend to help! Assembly is much easier with two people.
Check orientation: Make sure the insert and cover are aligned correctly before sliding it in.
Align seams: Match the seams of the insert to the seams of the fabric cover for the best fit.
Shake & adjust: Lightly shake and reposition the insert as you go to fill in any empty spaces.
Let it expand: Allow 3–7 days for the foam to fully expand once assembled.
