- Use a soft bristle brush to clean
- Allow to air dry
Products with removable covers

Big Joe Patio Sectionals
- Mix your cleaning solution in a spray bottle. We recommend using a mild dish soap or detergent diluted with water. Avoid using bleach, as it can damage the fabric. A good ratio for your cleaning solution is 3 parts water to 1 part soap.
- Spray the affected area thoroughly, avoiding 4 oversaturation.
- Use a soft-bristled brush or sponge to scrub the fabric.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Allow the sectionals to air dry completely before applying Scotchgard.
*If your Big Joe product featured Sunbrella fabrics, detailed cleaning instructions can be found on Sunbrella.com.
Protecting Your Outdoor Sectionals
Scotchgard can be a great way to protect the fabric on your outdoor sectionals from water damage.
-
Create a cleaning solution: Mix equal parts white vinegar and water in a spray bottle.
-
Apply the solution: Spray the affected area thoroughly, avoiding oversaturation.
-
Scrub and wipe: Use a sponge to scrub the moldy area. Wring out the sponge between each wipe.
-
Rinse: Rinse the area thoroughly with clean water.
-
Dry: Pat the area dry with a clean cloth and allow it to air dry completely.
For stubborn mold, let the vinegar solution sit for a few minutes before scrubbing. Remember to wear gloves and a mask when dealing with mold and put your sectional in a sunny location to dry.
