What is Big Joe's Warranty Policy?

Comfort Research, the creators of Big Joe, proudly stands (and sits!) behind every product purchased from buybigjoe.com or one of our authorized retail partners. Warranty claims must be accompanied by a purchase receipt and the following photos:

Please note:

  • Products purchased from unauthorized sellers are not eligible for warranty coverage. Please click here for a list of authorized sellers. This list may exclude some of our independent brick and mortar retailers. Please contact our support team for more information.
  • Warranty claims must be supported by proof of purchase and photographic evidence of the issue.
  • Warranty Coverage 
    Comfort Research (the “Company”) warrants to the original purchaser that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”).
  • Customers are allowed one replacement per purchase during this warranty period. 

This warranty policy applies to: 

  • Bean bags, foam-filled bean bags and indoor seating
  • Patio furniture
  • Inflatable products
  • Pumps and other accessories

Submit a warranty claim

Claims must include:

  • A close-up of the damage 

  • The issue shown in relation to the entire item

  • A picture of the “short tag — This tag includes the item and PO numbers we use to report to our manufacturing and supply teams. Since we do not require damaged items to be shipped back, this photo is essential. 

What is Covered: 

Our warranty guarantees the durability of the following features for 12 months from the date of purchase, when used under normal conditions with proper care: 

  • Seams and stitching
  • Fabric: Fabric integrity will be able to withstand standard wear-and-tear across all fabrics.  
    • Fading: Fade resistance is covered on Sunbrella and Sunbelievable products.
      • Sunbrella products come with a 5-year limited fabric warranty that covers loss of color and/or strength, abrasion or pilling.
  • Foam filling 
  • Zippers 
  • Valves on inflatable products
  • Pumps or accessories 

What is not covered:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, cuts, punctures, or burns
  • Improper storage, handling, or maintenance
  • Products used for commercial or non-residential purposes
  • Products purchased from unauthorized sellers
  • Pet damage.
  • Mold/mildew
  • Fading, unless Sunbrella or Sunbelievable
    • Products with Fade-resistant fabric: Sealander and Lux Lagoon Lounger (Twilight), Luft Patio Chair, Solvana 

Solvana Warranty Policy 

  • The coverage for Solvana has been extended to a period of two years.
  • This coverage adheres to the same guidelines previously outlined for manufacturing defects.
  • As Solvana is manufactured using a fade-resistant material, any fading is classified as a manufacturing defect for this product.

Remedy

If a defect covered under this warranty is confirmed, the Company will, at its sole discretion:

  • Replace the defective product with the same or a comparable product, or
  • Provide a refund of the original purchase price.

The chosen remedy will be the sole and exclusive remedy available under this limited warranty. 

Any replacement product will be covered under the original Warranty Period (not a new warranty period).
